Just received a text from him about an hour after I listed an item. He asked if it's still available, I said yes and he said great and asked for payid or account info. I replied asking if he'll arrange to come collect it and he now has gone quiet. Out of curiosity I looked up his number to see if he even has a payid linked to that particular number which he does not( and I know it's not uncommon, but the whole interaction was a bit of a red flag for me which is why I next googled the number).

Exactly the same type of msgs as reported above asking for bank details, offering to send a courier saying he lived in Mount barker this time. I instantly felt uneasy with his line of messaging and when I told him it is pick up only, I never heard from him again. Definite scam energy. I assume he would send a link to send your details and that would send your info elsewhere. Basic credit card scam.

I'm selling item on Gumtree, " Jordan" msg me and inquired about it. First question was is there anything wrong or any scratches he should now Bout. Clearly you can see condition in pic if item on the listing. Them claims to be in toowoomba and I'm on the GC. Immediately starts saying hey happy to pay for postage or a courier to pick up. Then says he pays through Aus payments Plus from his company acc directly into my pay ID or BSB . And immediately is pressing for my details of accounts. That's when I jumped on here to check this mobile number. I don't believe it's true. Definitely has a scam feel to it.
